It's either pal or vorpal. Vorpal is a noun, but it can be an adjective in french too, so it often takes the feminine mark = vorpale when associated with "épée" (=sword). "Pale" isn't a sword, but "pal" can be linked to impalement

So it's very likely that the sword will get an evolution with several swords or something like that (remember deino).
