Masuda's message was never said to be online on July 4th, but to be shown at Japan Expo at July 4th, which has happened.

Gameplay Trailer 3, the Japanese one this morning, was actually splices of loads of old stuff. Japan actually didn't get our 3 and 4 http://www.youtube.com/user/pokemon/videos
