So Pikachu uses the anime voice-over in Poke-Amim.

I swear to Christ is they add the anime voices as Pokemon cries in game.

Seriously, you guys sound like the people who bitched when they first showed that 3D models replaced sprites. Pikachu is the face of Pokemon, and this isn't the first time they've used his show voice in the main games.

Most of the Pokemon in the anime have really dumb cries in my opinion. I prefer hearing the strange and different sounds that Pokemon have been making in the game over the years. They just fit better and are more interesting to me then a Pokemon just saying its name.

Having a female voice actor doesn't make the thing its voicing female. This is like voice acting trivia 101. Pikachu was already confirmed to be male when he had attract used on him anyway.

Yeah, the "animal" sounds are far more interesting cause they add to the sense of wonder when you discover a new pokémon. It also helps the creatures seem more organic and believable (inside that world, that is).
