Lowest BST in gen 5 was watchog with 420. Its attack and speed are decent enough for SP plus it gets hypnosis.

Skarmory is only usable because of m-m-muh hazards. Heracross has a double weakness to flying, and getting hit with a brave bird isn't that much of a ridiculous idea. Politoed might be usable, but its stats are bad and that's my point.

Look at Ghost/Dark compared to most steel types.
Fucking Shedinja has a niche in ubers while Spiritomb just functions as a worse Wheezing. Because at least Wheezing can't get poisoned.

That doesn't exist in pokemon. It pokemon you have a measure of strengths vs weaknesses. Ghost/Dark isn't godly. It has no offense and few resists. Ground/Dragon is godly. It hits everything neutrally except floating Steels. A weakness to ice doesn't change that as the strengths greatly outweigh the weakness and the weakness is easily to work around. Your definition is not applicable to pokemon.

Agreed. Another new combination we haven't seen yet that would be pretty amazing would be Ice/Fighting. Stealth Rock weakness nullified by Fighting type, and the two best offensive STABs in the game.
