Chikorita should have evolved into Tropius instead of Meganium. They both are grass dinosaurs with approximately the same shape, only Tropius is actually interesting while Meganium really isn't.

At least pokemon like Sableye are contenders for evolutions in a later gen. Tropius could only be significantly improved by a new evo and will totally never get one

It doesn't NEED one but I'd kill for an evolution of Wailord based on the Wind Fish. Give it some extra points to make its defenses usable, maybe take some points off its speed to keep its BST around Arcanine-level. Who wouldn't want to use a gigantic flying whale?
