This girl is your daughter. She has a Blitzle, you have a Druddigon

One day she comes home from little girl school in obvious distress. You learn that a group of little girl bullies threw stones at her and her Blitzle. The Blitzle was cut by the stones and one of the cuts became infected, which is going to cost you several hundred dollars in vet bills. If there's no Pokemon Center nearby, there will inevitably be a Doctor somewhere close. I might have to battle him first, but after I win he'll gladly heal my Pokemon as often as I want. That's just how life works.

keep Blitzle on a Pokeball, give it to daughter, say her to not move or her pokemon will die, because poison only kills your mons when you walk. In the meanwhile, go to her school and challenge the bully girls to a pokemon battle, stuff that's completely legal (remember the tubbers?), then take any money they are holding, then run around with a VS. Seeker and challenge them over and over again until you have enough money for vet. This plan in infallible.
