>>12895591Kinda true though. It's pretty rare, but sometimes on flat, level surfaces, a coin can land on its edge without toppling. Of course, most people would just flip again if this occurred, and think nothing of it.
Also I think the point of that line was to say that you should always be prepared for a freak chance occurrence. Who's to say a bird doesn't swoop down and swallow the coin mid-flight? It will probably never happen, but it COULD.
