>>12896582I'm the weird kind of person that either carefully splices words together or comes up with something entirely original, based on the phonetics I feel befit the looks/personality of a character. Perhaps you'd like one of my ideas?
Staraptor (F):
>FeratheaSplice of "fera" (Portuguese word for beast) and "(scy)the", followed by an "a" for the sake of a female ending;
>VerialaStarts with "V" to mimick part of the chest marking's sillhouette, mixed with handpicked phonetics to make the end name sound both smooth yet still imposing (like how I imagine a female Staraptor to be).
Gliscor (M):
>KarrethSimply a rough name ending with a fading sound. The first syllable alludes to the roughness of Ground-typing, while the emphasized -eth syllable elevates the sound in a breezy way to correspond to the Flying-type;
>SkaphiA more playful-sounding name due to the soft -phi ending, with the first syllable being mildly derived from "scorpion".
If all else fails and you'd still like a handcrafted name similar to these, then you can take anything from my Dragon Cave account:
