I had a dream last night /vp/

I saw Honedge's level 50 stats in it. I went and backwards calculated what I saw, and found out what his base stats would've been. Clearly it was Masuda speaking to me through my dreams.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be a physical beast. why else would they introduce it by saying it learns swords dance and points out that it sharply raises its attack stat.

Also I feel like I am the only person on this board that actually loves this pokemon's design.

He could have high attack but still have decent defenses. Gallade has a very high Attack, great Special Defense, and isn't even really slow.

However, if he had high attack and high BOTH defenses, then that would almost require him being slow as fuck, like trick-room level slow.

It's a fucking sword, to make it defensive would have been similar to making Bastiodon offensive. Be happy with the type combo, and pray for a good offense - it could be a near-counterless sweeper...

Even if it has a lot of offense, that doesn't mean it won't have a decent amount of defense too. It will likely however, have both low hp and speed given it's typing and design. Not sure what to make of that competitively.
