Nope. It is assumed that they reproduce asexually. This is why Mew and Mewtwo look like fetuses.

Mewtwo was genetically altered as an embryo, or at least that's my headcanon, and birthed as a strange figure that underwent more crazy modifications until it became what we know as Mewtwo.

That or it really was cloned and "Gave birth" is not meant to be taken literally.

Well, the Pokémon world is much more advanced in technology than our world. Perhaps that's how they do cloning in their world, with tubes and stuff. That's how they did it in the show, though that really doesn't mean it was like that in the games.

Eggs weren't introduced until Johto, and even in FR/LG you can't create Pokemon Eggs until you get to Four Island, which is far away from the Kanto mainland. It's possible that there's something about the mainland that hinders or prevents the prevention of eggs and that live birth is the only way Pokemon can reproduce.
