Like that wasn't already done by some foul-mouthed children in 1998 and 1999.

Newtwo has grown on me significantly since the original reveal. It's the female voice: the smaller, more childlike form is more appealing to me when imagined as a girl, so having Mewtwo's newfound femininity come along with it really helped me accept this change to my first and forever favorite Pokémon.

Mewtwo's original English VA died in 2001, and Dan Green replaced him in Mewtwo Returns

And it's a different Mewtwo, so it'll probably have a female voice in the dub too
