What?

Mono is a prefix in English and French. Probably Latin in origin. Not an English word.

The french for honour (or honor for you Americans) is honor. Again, not English.

Pale is french for blade. Not an English word.

Names across languages are usually similar to each other in origin. I was pointing out that both names (Honedge and Manorpale) could be seen as a combination of the words honour, one and edge/blade/word for sword.

I find it weird that they'd use the word "pale". Pale does mean blade, but more like the blades of a fan or a windmill. The blade of a sword would be "lame".

I don't really get the "mono" part either. Is it because there is just one blade? If so is it safe to assume that it will get a multi-bladed evolution?
