Pokémon Emerald Pack

In this pack, you get normal Pokémon Emerald with the physical-special split, Pokémon Emerald 386 with the split, and Moemon with the split. Pokémon names use proper capitalization, move names use proper capitalization, there are no trade evolutions, and you can run indoors. I'm only reposting this because now these are all in one .zip. The files inside the .zip are .gba files. If you need .zip files, make them from the .gba files. It's not hard. Enjoy.

No problem. If you feel so inclined, it may be possible to run it through a randomizer without fucking things up, so long as you don't do anything like update moves, remove trade evolutions, or lower case Pokémon names, since they've already been done.

I plan to do Fire Red at some point, but it is a tedious task, so if I do go through with that plan, it won't be very soon. I can provide somebody else's patch, though. It was made by an anon who went by "LC Guy". It only updates Phys/Spec and changes moves to their Gen V status. You can't run indoors, and 'Mon and move names aren't in proper capitalization. I also can't vouch for it being flawless, either, since I didn't make the patch.

One thing I forgot to mention, if you find anything wrong, email the address I left in the address field. I haven't tested these since I just finished tweaking everything, so I have no idea if they fuck up somewhere along the line. I'm also heading to bed, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow for any fixes. Sorry about that.

As someone who can never go back to the older games after the Physical/Special split, this is amazingly cool. I might finally enjoy Emerald like I do HG. One question though, if anyone actually looks at this thread anymore; it says that 'there are no trade evolutions'. Does that mean you got rid of those Pokemon entirely, or you just set a level for them to evolve at?

My meditite has low special attack and it has 24 physical attack. With pure power bility that doubles to 48 attack which is high for a lvl 13 pokemon. I used thunderpunch on a lvl 13 goldeen in the beach house near slateport where you can buy sodapops, and my thunderpunch barely took out half out that goldeen's HP. I used Ice punch at lvl 10 on a lvl 12 onix and OHKOed it with no critical hit. Onix has high defense but low special defense. Then I hit a phanpy around the same lvl with ice punch and it took around half it's HP out. I know that onix has much higher defense than phanpy. Then I tried fire punch on a machop of the same lvl and it barely did any damage (about 1/10 of it's hp bar. Due to my testing of the move, I am forced to draw the conclusion that you didn't make Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Thunderpunch into pysical moves like they were in the 4th generation. Is there any that I can do about this? And don't tell me to give up on it. I have already put a good few hours into this and I have alrdy planned out my entire team. I really don't want to have to start over. can the creator of this patch please fix this problem? Or at least ell me how I can easily do it? I know nothing about programming whatsoever, so I can't fix it myself unfortunately. Also, I can't be bothered to take countless hours to learn to mess with coding and such, and end up ruining the rest of the coding in the process. Please help! I have been looking for a pokemon emerald ame with physical and special split forever. It's freaking perfect, other than this one problem. But, I am a big elemental punch user in pretty much all of my pokemon games. I don't want to give up on this. But I must have my ele-punching medicham. I simp,ly cannot do without. :(

s broken, sorry. Everything else, and I mean EVERYTHING else works perfectly, including evolution and moves changes (Bullet Seed being 25 power instead of 10), as well as shop item edits. It's just that the one thing that mattered the most to me (the Physical/Special Split) isn't just broken on certain moves- it's broken on every single move whose physical or special category was different in pokemon diamond and pearl, etc. Otherwise, it works extremely well. As I said before the PSS is broken on the basic PSS patched rm as well. I just wish there was somone who is doing the same thing with pokemon emerald, or at least that someone would fix this one. I's okay I just ended up raising a mixed sweeper blaziken and a porygon-2 to cover fire, ice, electric type moves.(Thunderbolt and ice beam on porygon-2, obviously.)
