>>12926266I am not him but I can explain. First of all, for convenience, I will name the games after their main region. The first games are located in Kanto, so that will be the year "0" for us. In the Johto games is said several times by NPC things that happened in the Kanto games referring to them as they happened 3 years before (i.e. I thought that Team Rocket was defeated by a kid 3 years ago, etc...), so we're putting them in year 3. In the Hoenn games and in the latest games in Kanto (FR/LG) there are many clues suggesting that the Kanto games and the Hoenn games are taking place more or less at the same time, with the Pokémon center in the Sevii Islands being a link beteween those regions. At the beginning of the Sinnoh games there are news on tv. In the region of Johto a red Gyarados has been discovered. This unique event happens while you are playing the Johto games (also there are many connections between the two regions, especially in the games of the 4th generation), so the Sinnoh games are set in year 3. Pokémon Black and White are set 10 years after year 3, in the games you can find old characters such as Caitlin, or a Rocket Grunt confirming that 10 years are passed since year 3. So B/W goes in year 13. B2/W2 goes in year 15: there are many details confirming that those games take place 2 years after B/W.
