What are the major differences between Black and White and Black 2 and White 2? Lost my copy of Black and wondering if I should just get B/W 2 or get all four.

Are you seriously contemplating buying all four games with X/Y coming out in 3 months?

Fucking emulate them, no point in buying em now. It's fun but I'm glad I never bought B/W2, the differences were noticeable and there were some cool additions but it kind of felt like I buying a map pack for call of duty, if you know what I mean.

if you fill out the unova pokedex, you get an item that makes eggs drop faster.
if you fill out the national pokedex, you get an item that makes shinies more frequently appear.

those were the MAIN draws for me, as someone who needs to legitimately breed pokemon both out of stubbornness, and out of a need for massive amounts of time wasting.

Well, depends on if you have beaten Black, but get at-least 2 of the 4 (1 and 2), there's slight differences in White/Black but the sequels feel like a completly new game.

How far were you into it? Maybe get White, as you'll get some differences. Might be nice instead of buying the exact same game twice. But if you can pirate the 1st, go ahead. Nintendo doesn't profit anymore from the 1st series if I'm not mistaken. They still do from the sequels. That's why they keep removing them for torrent sites (got both games legit, before anyone complains, downloaded them for randomized nuzlockes and grind hacks)

Ah, well get whichever colour you prefer. You might wanna start with the sequels, afterwards complete the first games again. If you get them both legally you can do some cool memory link thingie though.
