Has any of you noticed the worrying lack of evolution/prevolutions to older pokémon?

As of today only Sylveon is related to an older Pokémon.

yea gen 5 had no prevos and evos at all. it is kind of like gen 3, whit barely any relation to the older gens, followed up by a gen full of evolutions for older pokemon.

And yes, I'd like some cross gen evo, we've just three months left before the release, that would be great hype.

The only bad new evos were for Lickitung, Rhydon and Magmar, and they were all terrible to begin with.

I hope we'll get a couple of new evolutions for older pokemon, since we'll be having changes to old pokemon anyway with the Fairy retcons.

Maybe a Farfetch'd evo? Dukal'orange?

It's only let down by it's stats, which only an evolution can fix.

Sableye is in the new movie as an individual character though, Dunsparce has been getting about a million cameos, and both were in the pokemon Amie presentation.

No, I like the idea of having a pokemon for every single combination of types. Normal is severely lacking in dual types, so I just thought that dunsparce would make a good dragon/normal.
