I don't think so. It looks somewhat organized, as it's the demand from almost everyone. I figured 4chan might have something to do with it, but couldn't find any threads on the subject. Looks like a) pure trolling of those who seriously wants to trade, or b) some kind of bait. Does GF punish people with hacked mons or something?

Doesn't work if they're asking for Pokémon at illegal levels. The GTS won't let you trade them.

Not true, you can use a hacked Hall of Origin Arcues to activate the event. Hell, you can use an event Arceus AND a Hall of Origin Arceus to activate it twice!
