It's a nice idea but I'd rather listen to the superior regular music. Same case with the Bike theme. Some of the route themes are great but the bike ruins it.

But if it's all linear anyway, why bother exploring? I do think they could have a system where you could go to the gyms in any order, just beef up the mons based on how many badges you have and make HMs more for finding hidden stuff.

The whole low-health beeping is far more annoying in Zelda than Pokemon. You have that thing bugging you until you grab a few hearts or something while Pokemon it just lasts during battle or you can just switch out.
