Pokemon is not even in my top 10 anymore.
Playing pokemon has become a chore for me.

Brand loyalty would be my guess. What bores me is the same shit every time a new game comes out. Catch mons, battle, gather badges, beat evil team, beat e4, end. It gets tedious with every new gen when we have to recatch all the old ones and the new ones. Seeing new mons doesn't really excite me. To be honest I may not even get XY.

My favorite game is Mega Man ZX, though I also dedicate time to games like Ace Attorney, Elite Beat Agents, Street Fighter, Sonic, etc.

Mega Man always holds a special place in my heart though and it was a triumph seeing him in the Smash 4 trailer.
