Is there a particular reason that these guys got new art for BW2 while no one else did, besides the new Formes? Sorry if this has already been answered, I searched the archive and came up with squat.

They always update the art of the starters when the "third" version(s) come out since R/S/E.

Starters always get more dynamic artwork for the follow-up game(s). I almost always like the new art better than the original stagnant art.
