To read "po-kay-mon" in Japanese, it would have to be written as pokeimon, like some other anons already even made jokes about.
I'm still unsure as to why would people come to the conclusion it's said "po-kay-mon" in English. Makes no sense to me.
It's true my main language is actually Portuguese, but still... no sense at all.
