I think I remember in one of the trailers the MC was running in some grass outside of the second town and found a Pancham, but if the Pokebeach leaks are 100% correct, then you won't be able to get it's evolution without another dark type on your team.

Water-types don't threaten Fairy because they can't hit it super effectively. Offensive Water-type can be dealt with the same way as Scizor. Everyone's favorite Ponymon can't even switch in thanks to his Fighting-typing. How sad. Almost as sad as that panda's going to be.

It's typing always had potential but people just tended to think "Pfft, a sword Pokemon? Gamefreak is really running out of ideas here"

However Ghost/Steel does resist quite a few things, and even without levitate it still has a pretty solid usage.

Actually OHKO moves a programmed to always miss when No Guard is in effect. They at least thought that far. Lock-On + Sheer Cold still works for Articuno.

I doubt people will suddenly put unreliable moves in their type for just one pokemon. They will just keep their current 100% but less powerful move while Honedge will be the one dealing the fireblasts.
