I'm calling this now. This is the evolution method for the psychic/Dark Pokemon that was revealed today.
This was an old rumor, but it seems more possible now because they're the "Rotation Pokemon"... You get it!? Get it /vp/!?

Am I the only one who REALLY hates this an a method of evolution. I mean it's WAY to easy. You literally hold the 3DS upside down when it levels up. You can do it WHENEVER you want.

The only POSSIBLE way this could be made better is if the original pokemon sucked ass, and the evolution was a rape train, BUT the evolution doesn't learn any moves, and the prevo only learns the better moves later on.

At least the evolution stones (can be) hard to get. And off the top of my head I don't remember any of the main series games having evo stones in a store, but I may be wrong.

And don't get me wrong. I LOVE the concept. But I think in practice it will be too easy.
It wont have the sense of accomplishment that you get when you get your pokemon to the level it evolves, or finally get that stone you needed, or even found someone two trade with. (which is really more of a pain in the ass then a feeling of accomplishment though)

Red and Green, in the same city you get Eevee you can go a couple of buildings across and immediately evolve it into a Jolteon.

The point is that there are cases where immediate evolutions are possible (trading, stones, lvling up with a pokemon in the party) but they may have downsides, like restricting the moveset, or there may be further requirements we don't know yet, like a level requirement. The leaker didn't go into 100% detail and didn't know everything.

Pancham evolves at level 30 as long as you have another Dark type in your team. There will be a minimum level for Inkay to evolve by flipping your 3DS.
