Looks like there's going to be at least 2 teams. Either they'll both be in the game (In different parts of the region) or Y will have the red team and X will have a blue team.

Attention thread: There is nothing suggesting there will be 2 teams. There was only 1 team announced and no other teams were even mentioned. It just happens to be a red color so hoennbabbies have likened them to Team Magma and want there to be an Aqua version as well.
