Something I realized if you haven't already. If you were planning on using an Action Replay code to add more Pokemon in the game (and the only one that exist is a slot modifier that requires it to overwrite an existing Pokemon in the slot) and you are worried about overwriting the existing Pokemon in the game, you could always use the reoccurring Pokemon that appear in the Poke Spots.
