as a trainer who uses NU/UU against OU with just about the same success rate as any OU team, this disgusts me.

Why does that disgust you? That's cool. It means you might have a shred of skill unlike the rest of OU who just spam Heatran and the Genie guy's alt forms. "Truely skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites." I always use Charizard in my OU team and I'm relatively successful when he's used in the right situation.

NU is pretty wide, and there's a lot of viable stuff.

Right now, I'm using Mandibuzz, Scolipede, Seismitoad, Kangaskhan, Jynx, and Primeape.

I'm new to competitive and I'm using a team of Kingdra, Golurk, Alakazam, Weezing, Landorus, and Gastrodon. I admittedly have no idea what I'm doing but Weezing is bretty good

Idk OP I'm kind of glad and of meh that Espeon moved up to OU because of Magic Bounce.
I've always used Espeon and it's my favorite but now that it has Magic Bounce they're going to think i'm some OU Smogone babby that needs Smogone in order to battle. Not that I have a problem with them personally but they get really butthurt if you beat them with something not as 'good'.

The way I see it on Showdown! if they leave without saying "gg" they're pissed or they gotta go fast...
If on random matchup (actual game) and I'm beating some Jap with my favorite Pokemon and he/she has a shiny Ferrothorn and shiny Landurus Therian and quits then they're obviously pissed or just anal about winning everything.
Feels good man. Not saying I ooze greatness in competitive battling but I have my moments.
