The only requirement I have for natures is that it doesn't ruin the Pokemon, e.g. if I have a Pokemon that has high base special attack and will use only special damaging moves, it can't have a nature that lowers its special attack. Also, I never use Pokemon with natures that lower their speed, unless the Pokemon is already slow as hell (Gigalith, Parasect etc.). Neutral natures are ok. And no, I don't give a damn about metagame or competitive play.
