I'd like remakes, a lot of the music in that game would sound great without being limited by the GBA's hardware, and the region would look beautiful in 3D.
Not much reason in terms of pokémon to have them since you can get all the gen 3 legendaries/starters in just HG/SS and Platinum.
I want them to take my money, and I'm sure they want to make fat stacks from it too.
