Houndour Houndour and more Houndour.

Why do they keep showing this little black-and-orange dog? He's been in multiple trailers and, in this new one, he's just... there. For no apparent reason.

I'm thinking Houndoom Evo. Otherwise why bother showing him all the time? He could just be a common Pokemon, maybe his roots are actually in Kalos or something.

They were showing what kind of Pokemon Team Flare would be using, which is obviously Fire-type Pokemon.

Well, Houndour doesn't go along with the 'Flair' aspect. I get that they're fire-types, but I'd assume they'd use some crazy fire-types that have some pizazz, not an evil dog.

Theme, not name. Considering the outlandish outfits and eye-catching designs, you can disprove me fine when the game comes out.
Until then we don't even technically know if Flare is referring to actually fire, or if they're gonna pull some sun bullshit and use grass types. Or even Psychics and Fairies for the whole Solar Flare Sun/Moon thing.
