>>12993612It was just a different feeling and place. Things were more diverse. You could have a little more fun due to the whole "no rules" thing, you could have some offtopic threads that helped when things got stagnant, and the porn threads for all the boards were glorious.... I still remember the /x/ porn thread... many a fap was had. OC was also in constant flow and it was actually decent. Meme faces were used right and some of the comics were actually
funny .
I actually came to /vp/ initially to troll you guys with digimon a couple of years ago, and we ended up having a awesome digimon thread. Basically, imagine a lawless 4chan where anything went, but guidelines were given for the boards. Shit actually worked. The best thing was coming on to 4chan and always finding something new, and sometimes shocking, rarely did you fall into the repetition that we have now. Every once in a while something new will pop up, but for the most part you know what you're in for when you get on here. I'm sure you'll probably never experience the boards going to war with each other either. That shit was always crazy. There's of course more, but if you go back in the archives and look at shit from 3-4 years ago, you'll see the differences.
Moot got all sad about this and threw a little tantrum on /b/, but as I said, he's the one who killed this place. I don't even know what would happen if you tried making this place the way it was before. Oh well, the only thing certain in this world is change, even 4chan isn't exempt from this rule.
