Out of the new ones, I only like Xerneas. Gardevoir is my fav Fairy type overall, so there's that. I couldn't care less about the rest and for now, it's my least favorite type, with Normal coming second.

Xerneas is pretty cool, but the rest of pokémon are shit so far.

Excluding Gardevoir eveything is either pink or a blob or both, Swirlix being the worst of them.

Overall Fairy-type is so far pretty uninteresting

It's not the same, though. Vanniluxe is just an inanimate object with a face. Swirlix is a little puffy pomeranian dog with cotton candy fur. It's taken the fantasy elements and applied them to a real animal to create a pokemon, rather than sticking a face on a thing.

well, pure ice types like him and Cryogonal are just made of ice. I think of it as a clever way to create an ice type without using some uninspired ice monster or something that's another themed mammal, not so much as "putting a face on thing"

I'll admit, I generally don't like pokemon without much in the way of limbs, (things like pineco are meh) but that one just caught me. Probably because its not afraid to look goofy.

Maika for me, although Shushup the medic does come in a close second. No interested in the puffball at all.

More on topic, Clefairy is one of my favorites and almost guaranteed to be fairy. Gardevoir gives me a nice Psychic/Fairy, so I'm okay with that. Otherwise, I haven't cared much about the other fairies revealed so far.

Every known fairy looks like absolute garbage save for Marill and Xerneas. Shusshuppu or whatever the bird's called now has potential, but it will probably turn into some 2uguu shit.

Competitively I can't see the type itself accomplishing anything other than making Scizor and rain even more ubiquitous in OU, though it will probably impact the lower tiers a lot harder.
