Well /vp/, I did it. It took me a week of continuous breeding and hatching but I did it. I hatched a perfectly legitimate shiny Larvesta that's Modest and with the egg move Morning Sun. It's my perfect pokemon.

To give you an idea of how long this took, The father larvesta was put into the daycare at level 1. When my shiny larvesta hatched the father was lvl 73. Yeah, and I was using the masuda method and shiny charm in tandem. The dad had already forgotten morning sun, but I guess egg moves still get passed down as long as the parent is still in daycare, even if the parent forgot it.
