Okay /vp/ we need to talk,

I am going to provide a link (in fact here it is: http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/episode/transgaming ) which may help explain the concept of the Pokemon Anime series.
The reason why Ash continually "forgets" previously learned lessons is explained in the video. Hopefully this clears up alot of the implications of the new movie and allow people to finally understand that, whilst good, the pokemon anime is not exactly a storytelling anime.
