>>12997771With as many faults each generation of starters has, yeah, they're worse than eachother but better than one another in several ways.
>>12997783I can't really choose. They all have flaws and perks that I like and/or don't like. It's very hard
To be true to myself, I have a favorite I like from each generation more than the others in their respective generations. But that's beyond my point. You should appreciate each starter, but don't lap it up like dogshit on a plate if you honestly fucking despise it.
Just say, "I do not like it, but I appreciate it's existence as a part of the series."
Because it's not going to be removed.
>>12997832It's not that I would prefer us not to talk of Gen 1, as it was the very beginnings of pokemon in general. It's that manchildren who obsess over it should learn to accept change.
And I never said if you like generation 1 you are a gen wunner.
Gen wunners are MAINLY manchildren who have not played any generation beyond generation one and do not want to play gen II/III/IV/V because "it's shit hurdurr."
People who like generation one and prefer it are people who like generation one and prefer it.
You don't have to love them equally, just learn to appreciate what they are and their existence in the series, and move the fuck on.
