RNG does nothing to you. If you like breeding, go for it. If you like battling but hate breeding, RNG. Why should you be forced to play one part of the game you hate, when you can play the part you enjoy?
If breeding is what makes you happy, working hard to get that perfect mon, why do you care how someone else got theirs?
Do you like breeding and battling? Good! RNG doesn't give any real advantage over breeders online. The 1 or 2 point difference means nothing in 100 games. You guys make it sound like RNG gives you 50 HP over the next guy and your attacks do 300% more damage.
The problem is the breeding system is tedious to those that don't enjoy it. I don't want to have to bust out my leaf green to breed a pokemon, give it a TM it only gets in Leaf Green, transfer it over generations, bring it to my black2, breed it 100 times till I get proper ability + nature + Hidden power, then EV train it... THEN finally get to play it on my team only to realize it doesn't really fit the spot I wanted and have to do it all over again. I'd rather just take 5 minutes to get what I want and play what I want. It's a game, it's escapism, it shouldn't be work.
