Lets be honest here /vp/, is anyone on this board actually a genwunner?

You guys talk shit about them but I don't ever remember seeing someone act like one. I understand some people like Kanto more than other regions, which is a legitimate opinion, but is there honestly anyone here that thinks everything after Mew is shit?

Well, Blue was my first Pokemon game, so it holds a solid nostalgia factor, as does Gold, but all in all Gen 3 is probably my favourite.

If you look at it from 'What game did they play first' I'm sure a lot are Gen wunners, but I don't think many would defend it as 'The only Pokemon game' as all of them have pros and cons and are each enjoyable.

My brother, for example. Most I know think it's shit after Gens II and/or III (gentours, genthreebees?). Granted they're nostalgic as hell, it's no reason to bash on all the good things that have come out afterwards.

People who are actual "genwunners" have moved on from the franchise and wouldn't browse a pokemon board.

Overzealous fans of the newer generations will still use this imaginary enemy to deflect any kind of criticism directed at the latter games

From what I hear, Reddit has a Pokemon board full of gunwunners (to make this clearer: I know they have the board, I'm unaware of the true contents).

This site isn't exactly a secret and they think it's special to go to /b/, I doubt it's a stretch they'd come here.

Often enough some people come here asking for feedback on their hack/anything related to Pokemon despite having never been here too.

A few of my friends hate everything after Hoenn. A few don't even consider anything outside of Kanto pokemon

they don't go on /vp/ because you guys are all a bunch of faggots circlejerking of what is popular, anything that isn't your opinion is dismissed as a troll if you deny this you're in denial

But I like this board despite that. Some threads are gems without gen wars. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it's when people attack each other for their opinion it's when this board is gay.
