Any possibility this guy is an evolution to Sudowoodo? I love the Bonsly Line, so one can only hope that they jazz the line up a bit. GameFreak, please make catching a Bonsly worth it. This guy could make some awesome Rock/Ghost type.

Completely different concepts

Sudowoodo is not a tree, just disguised as one whereas this thing is an evil tree

We don't know the full details yet. This is just a rough sketch. There's a full possibility that what they saw in the trailer could be a "false tree". This only resembles a tree, it's probably not an actual tree.

The trailer is only shown in theaters in Japan right now. They haven't officially released it outside of them yet. Right now, all we have is rough sketches of what the creature looks like.
