I want to buy 3DS, but I'm a poorfag. At the moment I can buy normal 3DS, but I've heard that 3DS XL is better. Is 3DS XL really worth its price?

Sorry bulky was the wrong word. It's not heavy just very large and the corners on the XL dig into my hands. Don't have this problem on the original 3DS that everyone else seems to have.

Hi guys, I'm an extreme poorfag. I don't have a job right now. I spend days on end applying to places, cleaning myself up, introducing myself to managers and supervisors with carefully built resumes and I still cannot get a job. When I do have a job, I have to spend all of my money driving to my girlfriend's house. She lives 35 miles away and I drive a gas guzzler. It doesn't seem long but it's close enough to where she can bitch to me about not visiting her when I have money.

I got my 3ds when the XL came out.
I honestly don't think the XL is worth it. The only benefits are more memory, longer battery and a bigger screen.
You can get a SD card cheaply.
The battery, you can get more life out of it if you turn the wifi off and the screen resolution off.
The screen is kind of worth it, but i don't feel comfortable with it in my pants, but my GF, who has very poor vision, really likes it, she can actually see stuff. Also, the DS games look WAY better on the XL.
I have really good eyesight, and an original DS, so the regular works better for me

Yeah, I mean my parents are the bankrupt ones but the other 2 cars are constantly being used so I get the shit end of the stick. And we are bankrupt because the court is too lazy to do extra work.
My mom doesn't work during the summer but makes a shit ton of money to make up for it, they say she makes too much money, we told them work out the bankruptcy around her not working during the summer, and they completely ignored us. It's all right though. I don't want to sound mean but it doesn't completely effect me, just as long as I live here.

Assuming wrist to tip of middle finger? 6 inches sounds pretty normal for a guy around the 6" (height) mark. Which should be plenty for an XL at any rate.

I have BOTH consoles. I had 3DSXL first and then bought regular one.
First 3DS looks like a joke. It seriously feels like a cheap plastic toy made by China that going to breake after a week or two. It is bad by all meanings. From buttons to screens and quality and design.
Xl has the quality. And "DPI" is really not a thing you should care about. I didn't even notice this so called...DPI lol. Don't even understand what are you talking about.
I use that 3DS for memory cards mostly. It didn't even connected to WIfI 'cause it don't have any reasons to be a real console. Only a whore that helps me getting more Gengars and Alakazams.

Dots per inch. Aka the resolution per screen size. Go open paint, make a 400x240 image of whatever the fuck you want, then look at it. That's a 3DS screen. Then go resize it by a factor of 190% and tell me how it looks. That's a 3DS XL.

Even if it is true, do you seriously think they don't make new 3DS games without the 3DS XL in mind? If your only argument that it's a worse handheld console is that it will have a slightly worse resolution, despite the fact that the 3DS XL has several more factors that more than redeem it, then you are an idiot.

If you think losing a small amount of resolution isn't worth an increased battery life, being less fragile and a significant on board memory increase, then you are an idiot. If you think that it's too expensive, then just save up money for a little while you impatient shit. It's literally only $40 extra.

The only DS consoles I have owned are the original phat silver one, and what I currently have, which is two black DS Lites.

I skipped the DSi range because it didn't introduce anything that would justify the purchase and didn't include a GBA slot.

I'm planning on buying a 3DS XL because I have man sized hands, and from what I've seen in the reviews the screen looks amazing. I'm not even that bothered about the 3D effect. Everywhere online says that the XL is an improvement over the original.

I think Nintendo just makes the first version of DS consoles like test platforms, to see what works and what doesn't. Only a fool would buy the outdated version when an obviously superior device exists.
