Sorry, but I will give little credit to the first segment of BW other than TR had some promise. (then got screwed by the earthquake and by the time that was no longer an issue, they could not salvage it) However, the eps between Castelia and Nimbasa indicate they were going to make TR less interesting anyway. (these eps would've already been planned by the time the earthquake happened) The first two gym leaders at least used advanced tactics, but then they stopped doing that with Burgh and then most of the other gym leaders would be the same, save for three of them. One being worse and the other two being decent, but the last one is so full of BS that it instantly loses all credibility. I have no idea why they just stopped trying, but the earthquake had nothing to do with it. They just didn't care, which kind of makes anything at the beginning much less credible. In fact, now I'd say they fell back on the excuse that Ash can screw the rules to win. Now that TR is silly again, all the seriousness here is pointless, and also for the matter it now leads to nothing. Yeah, this entire saga is pretty much ruined now, and any idea that it COULD'VE been good is drowned out by Teletubbies singing the most annoying thing you can imagine.
