I got Gates to Infinity and it's my first Mystery Dungeon.

Are they all so silly, happy and YAY FRIENDSHIP based? Do the random dungeons eventually last longer?

I played through Blue Rescue and it was pretty decent from what I remember, but nothing amazing.

Explorers of time had some feels but I don't think I ever completed it because the gameplay bored me.

Haven't played any others.

It's pretty much YAY FRIENDSHIP but packed with story and feels. I don't know about Gates to Infinity because they changed how the game looks to make it 3D. That's why I wont be playing that game.

Sky made me feel more than Red and Time

but i had to force myself to beat Time and Sky because the end gets kinda boring and repetitive

No reason to ever play any PMD game aside from Explorers of Sky, it beats them all in every way except Gates which has some other merits to it.

I've been enjoying Gates so far, I think after putting a bit more time into it I began to enjoy it a bit more.
I think I'm going to go back and purchase Sky though, to see what that's like.
Does Gates have a good end-game? I remember that after finishing the story in Rescue Team there were a bunch more dungeons and even some more story stuff I think.
