I for one welcome our new Shiftry overlord

I really like him, I have one and he's one of the bros. I like doing odd or themed things (not for competitive use, do not whine), so for him I made a special set based on having everything related to sunny day, he has Chlorophyll as the ability, Solar Beam, Synthesis, Hidden Power fire and Dark Pulse, he's also equipped with that shit to power up fire moves.

Of course he needs a partner or he's even more worthless, but still I liked the idea

He does get icy wind, which I've founf to be pretty useful.

Timid or hasty is a self explanatory choice based on your moveset.

You can go physical with low kick seed bomb sucker punch

Special with giga drain hp fire and dark pulse

You csn even go mixed

Shiftry's main niche is a chlorophyll sweeper, having blistering speed and using growth to become incredibly powerful to pull off a late game sweep.

U-turn is a move used very early game to scout switches and moves, usually by either slower bulky pokemon like scizor and defensive jirachi or choice users like landorus or hydreigon.

There should never be a situation where Shiftry is even in danger of being hit by U-turn.

Why can the tengu pokemon not get leaf blade? I understand how it didn't get it in gen 3 because it was a signature move then but other things have gotten it since.
