After the big reveal in CoroCoro next month, which will most likely reveal at least a few new Pokémon, I hope they don't give away too much more info before launch. I want to play Y/X as blind as possible, but I really don't want to miss out on anything even before then.

Well, they wanted Gen5 to be a completely new generation with no links to previous gens (Hence no evol/pre-evos and 150 added) They wanted the same feel as you first felt when playin R/B for the first time and not knowing what to expect

Also, only a third of the gen V dex was known before Pokexperto leaked the entire thing, and a few of those weren't even official reveals (the starters' final evos for example).

Am I the only one who enjoyed the slow revealing of Pokémon we had in gen IV? We had a lot of time to become comfortable with the idea of a new gen.

Togepi, Kecleon, Snubbull, Munchlax, that sort of thing.
And the movie didn't have any, when typically, the movies prior to a new gen have a significant handful

You have to bear in mind that since there were major release date differences between the original Japanese releases and English releases we always had the complete dex "leaked" by the time they were released overseas; this is likely why you think there should have been more Pokemon revealed by now. But with XY being a simultaneous global release, we won't know shit until someone gets a guide or the game significantly early and leaks it.
