ITT: The best Pokemon to have come out of its generation.

- For me it's Volcarona from Gen 5 (despite Gen 5 being the worst in my opinion).

Sorry bro, Volcarona is a good pokemon from gen V, but I say Reuniclus is the best from it. It really helped me with learning what chaos Trick Room may cause. It's also adorable. But I respect your opinion.

I think garchomp is the "perfect" pokemon in my opinion, so I'll go ith that for gen IV

Kingdra was a god in gen 2, and alakazam was THE pokemon in gen 1.

Gen 3 is weird, because tyranitar became the best pokemon thanks to abilities, but Latios would be my pick since it destroys everything other than tyranitar

Best pokemon to come from gen 1 is eevee and I argue the best pokemon ever simply because of its nearly limitless diversity. Now granted eevee it self is rather weak, once evolved to whatever the hell you want that is lacking on your team, almost all of the forms have a great roll they can play...besides flareon. Worst of the forms.

Going off of looks, I'd say Aggron for Gen III. As far as capabilities go, Cloyster does it for gen I, though that's only after it got shell smash in gen V. Not sure if that counts.

yes I know, a gen 2 pokemon became amazing thanks to a very special ability. Tyranitar was undoubtably the best pokemon in gen 3 meta, even if it was from gen 2. Lastios was a close second, but those sp.def boosts really give it the Umf it needs

Now that I think about it, swampert was really good too

How is it the best? Have you people even seen the animal that volcarona is based on? They literally took a real world bug and didn't change it at all except for making it cartoony and uguu~
One of the worst in gen 5 in all honesty.

It's mythological basis is very sound however (not OP). If you look at the adornments on the side of it's head that were often donned by Gods featuring in Greek/Roman mythology. Furthermore the basis for it was that of the main God of the Egyptians, Ra, who represented the sun.
