Meganium a shit (I hate Feraligatr too, but I'll give it a pass with you Totofags hanging around).
All three Hoenn starters were amazing.
Every Sinnoh starter was good, except Infernape which was meh-tier.
Only good Unova starter is Snivy. Oshawott is a ripoff of Piplup, BUT Samurott is a god-tier beast. Tepig line a shit.

Chespin and Froakie are already confirmed-bro-tier. Fennekin is iffy, we'll see when we get the evos.

The Tepig line broke my heart. When I first saw Tepig I imagined him evolving into a wild flaming fire boar, but they turned him into an ugly, fat bipedal pig with stripes and swirls that was part fighting for no fucking reason.

Yes, if you draw it to look like shit, it does look like shit. I personally love all three of them. The only complaint about Fennekin's design I take seriously is the whole "big head" thing, which doesn't bother me as much as it does some people. And otherwise I think it's adorable.

No opinion on these. Never finished a Hoenn game.

Best starters. Interesting typing, good coverage, you can rely on them and they will not dissapoint.

Nerfed starters plus reworked experience mechanics to encourage the player to rely less on them and try some of the new mons.(Most of them being fairly viable team choices.)
In the late game they can become useful. Serperior just needs a move tutor and Emboar to solve his speed problem.

The pic is a caricature of its big head. The problem is so huge, that even when artist make cute drawings of fennekin, that overall make head biggers than body, they both make a bigger neck and a smaller head for the guy.

GF went over the line when designing Fennekin. The head must be the same size as the body at much, and with a strong neck that doesn't make it look like a caricature.
