In the second generation, it was basically the same, though Meganium was cute enough to entice more gamers.
In the third generation, all three had plenty of fans and it was all around, the most balanced, design-wise.
In the fourth generation, Infernape was probably the most hated, but most people didn't feel that way. Torterra is, of course, one of the best designed pogeys ever.
In the fifth generation, no one can agree.. Because Samurott is fucking awful.
