Nothing lived for more than a gyms at most.
A solo Leavanny carried me through the first few gyms, then after that died I was stuck on a solo Raticate for another too (holy shit I didn't expect that to be a rape machine).
Lucked out with an Axew catch right after Raticate went down, and while everything died around it she got me to the E4's doorstep.
Whited out to a fucking Lucario (Swords Dance -> surviving a Dragon Claw with 1%hp -> Critical Hits on my entire team)
