It would be better to go the all-out damage route with Life Orb or choice specs.

You don't even need prankster. I had one with Infiltrator in my B2 Run and it killed 2 of the E4 almost singlehanded and then took Iris by herself. Which I found amusing as I had called her Iris.

I had 5 Pokemon in my FireRed run, and was debating which to use to fill up the sixth place when this glittery fucker popped out in the Pokemon Mansion. First ever shiny, naturally she was a sign from Arceus to train Raticate. Ignored my Master Ball, caught her regardless, and after a short bit of grinding to get her up to speed with the others she earned her keep. Never wanted to train an early rodent before then, and I still don't, but Raticate is sis/bro tier.
Plus the color matches with the old nursery rhyme about the bubonic plague, which is definitely a plus for a rat pokemon.

Have you even played pokemon?
f you use something like Rock Slide for instance with 90% accuracy, it's going to be missing about 40-50% of the time.
Zap Cannon with it's supposed 50% accuracy? I once used it 30 times in a row back in gen 3 trying to see what the animation for it was. It never hit.

The end result is so worth it though. Easily my favourite Poison type. It is easier to try one out in BW2 since the earliest you'll find some are at Lv 17 with usable and good moves. Plus, it can get Acrobatics too!

Whimsicott hits 7/10 times with Whirlwind too, actually often more.

I actually paid attention and yes the accuracy figures are accurate. You tend to exagerate the number of misses in your memory because when you miss and it's important that's a bigger deal than hitting.

Motherfucking Golduck! Picked up a Psyduck in my white2 run and even them it felt particularly powerful and reliable but oh my. When this guy evolved it felt so bulky and hits so hard. It became my gamebreaker. If I was losing and Golduck was my last poke there was something he could do to change it. Simply incredible. Now my favourite poke.
