But a lot of gen I mons that are usually used as an example to compare to bad gen V mons, I find them alritght.
1st. They are the first generation. They settled up what pokemon look like, and the trends that mostly followed the next generations.
2nd. They are the right thing done right. It's just a pair of balls, but they look right. Voltorb doesn't need a moutg, Electrodude doesn't need scleras, and Magnemite doesn't need more than and eye.
Vanilux and its family, just are an ice cream cone with a retarded face. Only exception is vanillite, who gets over it because is a baby pokemon, and retarded face is somewhat softened by its cute look it fits.
