Hey guys, I'm planning to enter in the Pokemon National Championships thats in Australia and New Zealand this weekend at PAX Australia.
Now I realize that to win I'm pretty much going to have to EV train some pokes, however I'm quite new to the whole thing.
I understand the basics such as how to EV train and stuff, but not things such as making for example a "hail team" and weather teams in general.
Basically putting a team of six pokes together that work together.

My questions to my fellow /vp/oreons is:
Do I have to make a weather team in order to stand a chance at possibly winning? (even though I'm inexperienced and am not expecting a victory)
Do any of you have any Pokemon you recommend me to EV train up, or should I just look at the OU list on smogon?
