As you can see there are some pokemon that do the same role, like pinsir and heracross, where one is better than the other.
Before gen V salamence and dragonite also have the(almost) same role, no one uses dragonite then, but gen V comes and dragonite got the best defensive abilities multiscale and dragonite becomes more than a worse salamence.
Do you think gen VI will do the same for pokemon with similar purpose?Maybe giving them new moves or abilities(unlikely)
